Healthy skin starts from inside. Eating a clean natural diet, drinking lots of fresh water, and avoiding toxic environments whenever possible.
Here’s a nice way to start the day or a good lunch replacement meal.
2/3 cup. of non-dairy milk: almond milk/ pea milk/ oat milk/ cashew milk/rice milk
1 cup of yogurt or if vegan, cashew milk yogurt
1/2 cup of your favorite berries (blueberries are best!)
1/2 of an avocado
A handful of spinach or kale
1 tsp. cinnamon or a few drops food-grade cinnamon oil
A drizzle of organic honey to desired sweetness
1 small banana ( I keep several frozen for an added creamy treat)
A few ice cubes (more for a frostier smoothie, fewer for a creamier one)
OPTIONAL: Scoop of protein powder of your choice.
Put all of the ingredients into a blender and pulse until no lumps are visible. Serve immediately.
If you’re not a berry-lover, pineapple is a GREAT choice to get an extra dose of collagen-boosting Vitamin C.
